SACAT can review certain decisions about Restrictive Practices made under the Research Involving Human Embryos Act 2003

Types of decisions SACAT can review

SACAT can review the following decision made by the National Health and Medical Licencing Committee:

  • a decision not to issue a licence
  • a decision in respect of the period throughout which the licence is to be in force
  • a decision to specify a licence condition
  • a decision to modify guidelines in respect of a licence
